Accessibility Statement

This statement applies to the Tartu Welcome Centre website at tartuwelcomecentre.ee, including its desktop and mobile versions.

We want everyone who visits the Tartu Welcome Centre website to feel welcome and to be able to find information easily. Accessibility is an essential part of providing public information, and we continuously work to make the website usable for as many people as possible – including visitors who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice control or alternative input devices.

We aim to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.

The website was reviewed in a professional accessibility audit conducted by Ligipääsuke OÜ on 2 November 2025. No critical accessibility barriers were identified.

Following the audit, we replaced the images used on the website, added descriptions to informative images and improved the visibility of keyboard focus in the main menu and page footer.

We will continue to consider accessibility when updating the website.
